10 Deeds in 10 Days!

Helping out some amazing local charities and groups.

Kat Country 103 and Valley First Credit Union present 10 Deeds In 10 Days. Each weekday between March 13th and March 24th Kat Country 103 will visit a different city each afternoon between 3pm and 7pm (during the Scott Simon show) to raise awareness and collect donations for local charities and local projects.

Manteca – March 13th (Jungle Jim 3-5pm)

Monday March 13th from 3-7p – California Auto Sports at 180 Button Ave off 120

Charity – We’ll be raising non-perishable food donations (and cash donations) for 2nd Harvest Food Bank

Tracy – March 14

Tuesday March 14th from 3-7p – Medifast Weight Control Centers 145 W 10th St #120

Charity – We will be collecting cash donations and new clothes, homemade blankets, sheet sets, toiletry items, stuffed animals for CASE For Kids. Helping foster kids (babies through teens) who move from one foster home to another. Often they have little to no belongings and this gives them a measure of dignity.

Oakdale – March 15th

Wednesday March 15th from 3-7p – Community Hospice at 870 N Yosemite Ave.

Charity – We will be collecting cash donations AND used, unwanted items to be sold at Community Hospice Hope Chest Thrift Stores which helps fund Community Hospice.

Lodi – March 16th

Thursday March 16th from 3-7p – Domino’s Pizza at 305 S Hutchins St.

Charity – Lodi Partners Unit. A volunteer unit of the Lodi Police Department. Partners patrol city streets, parks, and schools.  They purchase their own uniforms, radios, cell phones and vehicles and we’ll be asking for cash donations to help. They serve as additional eyes and ears for the Lodi Police Department and provide information and assistance to the community in a variety of ways.  Assignments may include:

  • Patrol duties
  • Handicapped parking enforcement
  • Clerical assignments
  • Front desk reception
  • Special events
  • Vacation home watch

Ripon – March 17th

Friday March 17th from 3-7p – Schemper’s Ace Hardware at 150 N Wilma Ave.

Charity – We will be collecting donations to help the Ripon Community Athletic Foundation replace the dilapidated bathrooms at the Ripon High School Stadium. If you can’t make it but would like to help you can donate by clicking HERE.

Modesto – March 20th

Monday March 20th from 3-7p – Rita’s Italian Ice Cream at 2001 McHenry Ave.

Charity – We’ll be collecting donations to help the continuing development of the Awesome Spot Playground at Beyer Park. A playground that incorporates “inclusive play” so kids with special needs can have fun, play and interact with all kids.

Brentwood – March 21st

Tuesday March 21st from 3-7p – Rockin’ Jump Trampoline Park at 5641 Lone Tree Way

Charity – We’ll be collecting cash donations and/or used unwanted items in good condition to be sold at the Shepherd’s Gate New Life Thrift Store to help fund the Shepherd’s Gate Womens Shelter.

Stockton – March 22nd

Wednesday March 22nd from 3-7p – Weberstown Mall at 4950 Pacific Ave in.

Charity – We will be collecting cash donations to benefit H.O.P.E. which is a troubled youth organization who’s primary goal is to help youth who are on the fence of either becoming a problem or a solution to Stockton. Some are potential gang members, kids causing problems after school etc. They need role models to show them the way.

H.OP.E.’s offices burned down a month or so ago and they need help re-building so they can get back to work helping these kids make better choices.

Modesto – March 23rd

Thursday March 23rd from 3-7p – Direct Appliance at 2424 McHenry Ave

Charity – We will be collecting cash donations as well as donations of clean men’s underwear (preferably boxers), socks and women’s panties for the Cleansing Hope Shower Shuttle run by the Church in the Park to give a measure of dignity to the homeless. Turlock – March 24th

Friday March 24th from 3-7p – Domino’s Pizza at 1571 Geer Rd.

Charity – Salvation Army volunteers will be out with the big red kettle to collect cash donations to help renovate the Kids Gym in Turlock at the Salvation Army Community Center.
